Netherton Foundry Chef's Prospector Pan

Lightweight and more heat-responsive than a cast-iron skillet, this spun iron pan from Netherton Foundry has deep sides, a gently curved profile, and two handles to travel between hob, oven and table.

---DETAILS---

Due to their unique spun iron construction, Netherton Foundry pans are ideal for high-heat searing, everyday cooking in the oven or on the hob, and everything in between, all without straining your wrists. Black iron is highly magnetic, thus induction hob–friendly. This versatile two-handled frying pan is perfect for oven-to-table cooking, especially when pre-searing is involved. The Chef's Prospector Pan features deep sides with a gently curved profile and a broad cooking area across its base. It is also pre-seasoned with flax oil for a natural easy-release finish that gets better with time, as long as you maintain it properly. Lids for these pans are sold separately here.

Note: This pan should be seasoned before use, to repel rust and fortify the layer of seasoning. This layer should be regularly maintained. Read our instructions on how to season and maintain a spun iron pan, and why it's worth it, in our guide.

---BENEFITS--- ‘The curved sides make it great for folding omelettes and it's deep enough to handle dishes with lots of liquid.’
